Replacement of Carpet inserts in Aluminum Entrance Mat

Determining the carpet insert width of your existing entrance system can be difficult.   If the incorrect size material is ordered and the replacement inserts do not fit, your order  is subject to a restocking fee.  Instead, we recommend sending samples of carpet inserts of 3 different widths.   Using your existing mat, peel back an insert and slide in each of the 3 samples to determine which one is the correct fit.  Below are the carpet options for each insert width.

  NYLON Carpet Insert Color Choices

 
Nylon Carpet Inserts manufactured from 100% Nylon 6 carpet fiber fusion bonded to a polypropylene backing as selected by the architect.  Nylon Carpet Inserts are anti-static, stain resistant and contain an antimicrobial additive. Carpet pile weight shall be 33.8 ounces per square yard with a .35” pile height.

Exterior Carpet solution dyed polypropylene fibers with 50/50 blend of 600/12-denier multi filament and 595/D1 monofilament, available in one of 4 standard colors.  The texturized fibers have ultraviolet blockers and color as an integral part of the filament. Each carpet fiber and monofilament is fusion-bonded to a rigid two-ply backing to prevent fraying and supplied in continuous splice-free lengths. Waterproof fibers do not get soggy, rot, fade or stain. Carpet weight is 32-oz./yd².

MonoTuft HD™ Carpet meets CRI standards for good indoor air quality.  Fibers include a minimum of 100, 12 mil monofilament fibers per square inch.  Available in one of 11 standard colors.  Each carpet fiber and monofilament is fusion-bonded to a rigid two-ply backing to prevent fraying and supplied in continuous splice-free lengths.  Anti-static carpet fibers contain antimicrobial additive and can be treated with Scotchgard® to reduce soiling.  Carpet weight is 33-oz./yd².
