Above is a Pedimat M1 entrance mat installed in a commercial office building.  The middle section has exterior Espresso brush carpet for aggressive wiping of traffic through the main entrance.  The two sides use a softer HD Espresso carpet for maintaining a uniform look and additional pedestrian traffic.

The perforated extruded aluminum rails of a Pedimat can be anodized in several colors.  Clear anodized was choses for a "matte" finish to blend in with the interior doors and aluminum trim.  This is another example of a commercial office building with high pedestrian traffic.  Pedimat systems are ideal for wiping and retaining dirt.

#7325 Wrought Iron HD Carpet 

This is a high traffic public library entrance where several hundred visitors walk through on a daily basis.  Darker carpet inserts were chosen to hide dirt and prevent a "cow path" from showing.  Clear anodized aluminum rail finish was chosen to complement the interior trim.

Above is a Pedimat M1 in black anodized finish.  Installation of a pedimat is easy for both new construction and remodel entrances.  the recess can be created by framing off the area and surrounding the perimeter with tile, stone, carpet.
